Afterwards, a meeting was held with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was devoted to issues of protecting the rights of minors and preventing juvenile delinquency.
The meeting was opened with welcoming remarks by Z.S. Ubaidullaev, Director of the Legal Clinic. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of systematic cooperation between educational institutions and law enforcement agencies, noting that effective prevention is impossible without a comprehensive and consistent approach.
The meeting was attended by A. Rajabov, Senior Lieutenant and Inspector for Juvenile Affairs of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, as well as Sh. Karshiyev, Senior Lieutenant responsible for the development of internal affairs bodies and juvenile matters. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provided a detailed explanation of the role of inspectors assigned to educational institutions, as well as the specific features of preventive work. It was noted that the work is carried out on a comprehensive basis: interaction involves not only the student, but also teachers, the school psychologist, and the family. When necessary, other specialists are engaged, allowing for a thorough assessment of the situation and the development of an individualized preventive strategy. Particular attention was paid to the growing number of offenses among minors, as well as the increase in cases of violence both against children and committed by adolescents themselves. It was emphasized that these trends require not one-off responses, but systematic and sustainable preventive efforts.
In conclusion, further plans for cooperation between the Legal Clinic and representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were discussed, particularly in relation to joint work with minors and their legal representatives.

Students actively engaged in the discussions, receiving detailed and well-founded answers to their questions from the respective representatives. The practical insights and professional perspectives shared during the meeting significantly contributed to a deeper understanding of the issues discussed and proved particularly valuable for the students in the preparation and writing of their thesis papers.
